Put the car in the garage and heard a loud CLUNK! Garage door wouldn’t open. Immediately called Precision Garage Door of West Michigan- they had a technician to my house in under an hour. Mike M, the technician, explained what had happened; told me the choices that I had in repairing it; had the necessary parts in the truck; and did the repair work immediately. Start to finish-less than two hours. Great company-great technicians-great service.

The installer Mike M was a wonderful representative for Precision Door. He explained what was causing our problem, what he could do to fix it, provided quotes for several different options, once we settled on the product we wanted he installed the door opener, explained how it works, he even helped us with the app for the opener. If I knew it would have been this easy to fix my garage door, I would have done it 4 years ago. Jeremy was great! He noticed I had 2 broken and upside down hinges, and eyes that were bad - and other problems. Everything works great!

The torsion spring on my garage door snapped. I called Precision Garage Door of West Michigan and requested a repair. They were able to schedule the repair for the next day. The Service Technician, Jon C. arrived within the service time window, then assessed the fault. He went over the repair estimate and ensured that all my questions and concerns were resolved before starting the repair. Jon C. was friendly, professional, and courteous. He replaced and set the new torsion spring in less than 30-minutes. The entire service took less than an hour. I am very satisfied with the work performed by Precision.

After he completed our repair (replacing two springs and two hinges), he walked me through how to take care of the garage door (basic maintenance and lubrication points) and recommended a future service schedule. After years of struggling with a heavy wood overhead door, we ordered the Enduring 100 One-Layer Steel door for our unattached garage. Because it is manual, we love how light the door is, easy to open, and very handsome. We have been impressed with the communication and updates from Precision Garage Door, and our technician, Mike McClellan, did an excellent job with tear down and installation, as well as following up on small things, like door handles. We appreciated the customer care!

I called this morning due to our garage door would not close unless we held the button down until the door was shut. The problem started 3 days ago. I called Precision this morning and they set up the repair for this afternoon between 2- 4pm with Nicholas, the repair technition. He arrived promptly at 2pm and was finished by 3 pm. He figured out that over the weekend with the thunderstorms that came through a lightning strike blew out the magic eye in the safety device on the door. He replaced it and checked all the remotes to make sure they worked and was done by 3pm. He was very informative, explained what he had done, and was pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this company for their garage door openers and doors. They installed our doors in 2001 and we have not had an issue with them at all until this past weekend.
