He proceeded to patiently explain the issues I was experiencing with my door, along with options to remedy them. Once I chose the option I wanted, he proceeded to quietly and quickly complete the project, all within slightly more than an hour.

Update to my previous review below...I had an immediate follow up call from the General Manager to discuss my concerns and after our conversation I am very confident in using Precision in the future. As noted the finished job was completed properly and everything works as expected. Do to my concerns, the GM did in good faith provide me a monetary refund to apply to having my wall repainted which was a very gracious and I will do so. Precision did service us in a very expeditious manner which I must say was never expected from any company. This allow me not to miss a beat and continue using my garage within a couple of hours of failure. Previous review: I was pretty excited that the service was addressed very quickly but...the technician was pretty careless with my property by dropping metal components onto my new concrete and my new coated Garage Floor. He also Constantly complained about the parts not going together smoothly and the garage temperature which I had opened our second door and moved items to make his job easier. Once completed everything worked as it should but I would expect more of a professional attitude and he shouldn't ask me to hand tools to him since he is the service technician. I hope this provides feedback and going forward I will seek elsewhere to have my garage doors serviced.

I had a broken lift cable on my door, and a little damage from unknowingly trying to open it. Based on positive feedback in the community, and after leaving a few voicemails to companies on the Saturday afternoon it happened, I found Precision online, and was able to make an appointment on their portal. This included a brief description of the issue, and a selection of available times. I picked the first window that Monday morning. Communication was great from booking the appointment to Eric's arrival promptly at 7:15am. A quick look at the issue, and I was out of luck. Another contractor-grade install that just gave out after losing its durability, and a product that Precision doesn't service. I couldn't find who had repaired the internal spring 5-6 years prior (and no service sticker), so I was left with two choices: upgrade to the external torsion spring, or find someone who services the brand of door (still waiting on 3 voicemail call backs). Eric gave me some time after detailing what the retrofit/conversion would include, cost, and time. He checked that he had the right sizes and parts on his truck while I decided. Having a financing partner greatly assisted in the decision to go ahead with the repair. He said about 2 hours, and despite the questions I asked, his detailed explanations, and friendly conversation, he was done in 2 hours, including small fixes to the track attachments and safety feature alignment. He was professional, courteous, friendly, helpful, and patient - everything you'd look for in someone to fix something way out of your wheelhouse. I would recommend Precision to anyone looking for repair, upgrade, or replacement for garage doors. The financing went very quick as well, though only a week into this (working on setting up the payments, statements, etc.), so would have to return and update the review for that part, but it should be fine.
