My approximately 30-year-old garage door opener finally died over the weekend. I decided to go with Precision to have a new opener installed. Brian Ciminelli, Technician, was professional, answered all my questions, and also talked about options to replace additional hardware parts on the garage door mechanism (original springs, rollers and other hardware), and provided three different quotes depending on how much he would replace/install. I did not feel like I was getting a hard sell, and he addressed and thought of things I never thought of. The door opens and closes quieter than it ever has, I now have a battery backup model for the inevitable power failure, and peace of mind knowing that everything is newer and operating much more smoothly. My battery backup needed to be replaced. I called and was able to have a technician scheduled for the next day. My technician Brian was very professional and quickly assessed the situation. Brian Ciminelli Came today 7-7-2026 to address an issue . With the release cylinder not working. Afterwards Brian had me use the key to release cylinder , pull the release chord, open door manually and reset. Now I know how to open the door manually. Brian was professional and helpful and easy to work with.

I choose Precision Door because they previously installed the garage door opener. We had a short electric power outage and it seems to mess up the garage door opener programming. Everything was restored to its previous level. And an inspection of the garage door yielded a few bolts that needed to be tightened up.

Our technician Brian Ciminelli was great. Gave us multiple suggestions and quotes for repair options. No high pressure to “sell up”. Even though we only had 1 door needing repair he inspected both. He arrived on time and was very professional. This company may not be the cheapest but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Easy to make an appointment online. Brian was in contact with me prior to appointment time to ask about problem with the garage door. When he arrived he listened to my issue with the door. He explained what he would do to assess the problem. Brian then reviewed what he found, maintenance of the door and how clean the sensors. Great service.

He replaced our motor, installed new sensors and remotes, and set us up with a remote app to control the door from our phones. I have used Precision Garage Door in the past for replacing the spring on my garage door and to install a new door opener motor. I had a problem with the door closing intermittently and Brian came out and did an inspection and advised me on how to resolve the issue. He waived the service fee and bid me a good day! I wouldn’t dream of calling anyone but Precision Garage Door for any repairs.

This is the third time I have had my door serviced by precision. They were prompt in answering and scheduling my appointment, arrived on time, investigated, discussed issues and made necessary repairs. The first visit was a spring replacement; so material held up as expected. Last visit was a warranty issue. Again tech was A1. On time, personable, did the repair, explained issue, and made adjustments to minimize future issues. I give both the tech and Precision 5 stars. Thank you!
