Our garage made a large noise and I contacted Precision. They came out immediately and explained our options. We chose to go with a new door that was installed today. Garage door spring broke suddenly yesterday evening. Booked an appointment online. Charles S was prompt and got here at 8AM. Did a great job with replacing all moving parts on our 20 year old garage door. Better than new! Thank you Charles and Precision Garage door for very prompt service and a great job!

Precision Garage Doors technician Jeff Bhelm came out to service my request for a garage door today, August 13, 2025 for remote opener replacement. He said he was required to inspect my garage door too. He showed me "three (3) small metal cracks" inside the door when raised and said they could pose a safety hazard if not replaced. I only called for a garage door opener replacement not a sales pitch for a new door! However I called PGD because of their TV commercials. Perhaps in the near future I will.probably consider them for a new garage foor. Jeff was just doing his job and left a brochure just in case... I was satisfied with the new garage door opener programmed to my existing system. Service call charge is $75.00 however it is part of the inspection tion

Pat Stevens came through for the win. Diagnosis and communication was clear and explained well. Pat knows all the tricks of a pro and tuned up my 20 year old garage door. A lot of moving parts were well worn out , but he had all the correct parts and options at hand to replace them. Well worth the cost and effort. Other garage door installers had budged up the job , Pat corrected these mistakes and resolved every issue

Called precision for a repair and had a less than good exxperience. They had no clue whatwas wrong with my garage door lift system. After talking about 10 minutes about what could be wrong, the cables were mentioned by me and they asked if I wanted them replaced, I said sure because they were not lifting at the same time causing one or both sides to come off the pully. Seemed like it could be the problem. They did not know and I went with what seemed to be the issue. I needed my door fixed, car was trapped inside so I agreed to replacing the cables partly due to their overcharging for a diagnosis fee, just to come out and look at the door, even if they did no work or had no solution. and needing it fix that day. So $300 + later and still no fixed door. I called another company and he knew right away what was wrong, and fixed in in 35 minutes and charged $90 I would say steer clear of precision, that are anything but precision.

They wanted to charge us $1400 to fix the springs. There was a service charge of $75 which we paid and the guy had the garage opened but closed it and told us it was another $100 to get it back opened (our cars inside). We called another company and they fixed the garage door for $345. Precision was just looking to sell us a new door. The guy thought if the repair was high enough we would just spring for a new one. Not good business!

One of the easiest repairs I've had. Scheduled (as a new customer) online a week out. Tech came within the estimated time frame and called 15 minutes before to give me a heads up. Repair was quick, no ordering parts, no pressure, walked through everything and given options. Paid with a check and everything's working great.

My service technician was Eric H, he was early for the appointment which was great. He did a complete overhaul of my door which was badly needed since most of the parts were 20-30 years old. Eric was very polite and explained everything he was going to do and the price. He did a little more than expected with out any extra charge. I would highly recommend precision garage door.
