Technician Joey arrived within less than 2hrs into the 4hr window I was given in my early morning call. He was very pleasant and efficient, explaining every detail in diagnosing the issue(s) with our garage door and opener. He estimated under an hour for the repairs and completed them in just over 1/2 hr and that included making a couple of maintenance-type adjustments that were not part of the specific repair he was summoned for. Our technician Brian Ciminelli was great. Gave us multiple suggestions and quotes for repair options. No high pressure to “sell up”. Even though we only had 1 door needing repair he inspected both. He arrived on time and was very professional. This company may not be the cheapest but sometimes you get what you pay for.

Choose this service because of favorable results from previous work done in 2023. Brad did a professional job working on the current door but soon realized that a new door was in order. He provided many options to chose from.

We called Precision in desperation when we couldnt even open the garage to take kids to school because the springs of the door had broken. They were able to send someone out within two hours of my call and Jason finished the job in two hours too. I probably wouldve given them 4.5 or 5 stars but the after the appointment we finally had a chance to look at other places and others may have been only a couple hundred dollars less. But we didnt have much choice on a weekday.

Brian replaced the torsion spring on my garage door as well as other moving parts that were adding resistance to the mechanism. He also gave me maintenance tips to to make sure it lasts longer. I am happy with the quality of work. Service was very prompt as well. I will use them again for maintenance.

Pat Stevens was my technician and he arrived just before 8:00am on Sunday morning as stated. He replaced both the cables, which were attached to the garage door, and finished it in about 30mins. He was very professional and very knowledgeable, and also provided info on how to maintain the door, so it would remain in good working condition over time. I used a different service provider once before to repair our garage door, and he had never mentioned any of these tips, so that was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Precision Garage Door to others, and I will definitely use them again in the future, if needed.

The spring on my garage door broke and also caused the bracket on the garage door to break off that connects to the chain. Because of that, they recommended the garage door be replaced and I did. I was happy with the overall response time and the work done. I did feel the price was very high. In hindsight I would have gotten additional opinions and estimates and may have gone in a different direction.

My Liftmaster 8300 started to behave erratically with random open and closings. While that can be caused by a nearby remote for a different door, after while it became clear it was more than that. When possible prefer to have work done by community based companies in the Plymouth area and I found Precision Door and found their website offers online scheduling as soon as the same day. Brad came out and was professional from the start, even though I had requested a new opener, Brad took the time to do a through inspection of the door (pointing out some signs of wear that could become problematic in the future), he tested the opener and found some erratic behavior even in manual operation. Once he confirmed the balance of the door, the cables etc were fine I decided to go ahead and have the opener replaced with the latest Liftmaster 98022 model. Installation went well and Brad took the time to explain how and where to lubricate the hinges and spring for best operation. The original door installers never provided those details. Would also encourage folks to respond their rollers with the new nylon rollers. Door operated so quiet and smoothly now. Would highly recommend Precision Door.

I was pleasantly surprised to hear that they could have a technician come out within the hour! No sooner had I ended my phone call a text message from my technician was received stating that he was on his way and he provided a very accurate timeline for his arrival. Mr. Pat Stevens was very proficient in his thorough assessment and, based on my answers to his questions, provided excellent recommendations. Mr. Stevens quickly set to the task at hand. I was impressed with his knowledge and how easy he made the job look. He was very cordial but also very professional. Im extremely impressed with his work ethics and his ability to communicate in layman terms how to get the best use out of my new Garage Door Opener. Theres much more to it than just being able to open the garage door and Pat fully explained and then demonstrated all functions. The whole process was very simple. Yesterday afternoon I went to the companys website and booked an appointment using the easy online booking system. I saw they had appointments for the very next day! In less than 14hrs, a technician by the name of Steve Wells from Precision came to my house. He looked at my garage, fixed the issue I was having with the spring, gave me some maintenance tips going forward. My dog really liked Steve too, he was great!
