Jeff was excellent. He called and informed me he was on his way. When he got to my home he introduced himself and I told him about what was going on with my garage door. He looked everything over and inspected everything. I need a new garage door, but they have affordable pricing and quick turn around time. On my initial call to the company they had quick appointment times and they sent me my appointment information by text and email. The receptionist was great too! They'll be coming out soon to put my door on!

From the first contract with precision it was a good start, making the appointment and getting service out for an estimate was great fast appointment. My appointment was for 8 A.M. and my service person was Jordan Wallace and he was here at 8 A.M. I was impressed and my installation of my 2 garage door openers was fast and efficient. Steve was 100% professional. He arrived as he said he would - on time. He was engaging and. made sure that I understood the aspect and details of the installation. He wax was more than willing to answer all questions. I had had a very challenging day but he was great! On Friday night, Jan31, the garage door would cycle down but it would not go up and made terrible noise when it tried...plus the door opener mechanism shook like it would be torn off the ceiling and the belt was ready to snap. I pulled off the cover and found the main drive gear was destroyed. The next morning, Saturday, I called at 9:30am hoping to get a convenient appointment in a week or two. The receptionist said that someone could come out right away. At 10:15am Steve Wells was ringing the door bell. In 15 minutes, he had the opener, the garage door, the spring, cables, roller wheels and hinges inspected and provided his recommendations. He said that he had been in the business over 20 years and his expertise was obvious and reassuring. The LiftMaster door closer had been in operation since my house was built in 1994, which he said was way beyond any normal life expectancy. (My son-in-law bought a "newer," used home and his garage door opener self destructed in 8 years. So I decided to go with the Liftmaster product again. So far it has proven to be a pleasantly surprising, positive experience. I would expect some improvement in the product, since it's was 30 years old, but the improvements are dramatic. The opener is quiet and the door movement is swift with reaction time surprisingly quick. Steve balanced the door spring pressure and all of the moving parts so that the system works like a Swiss watch. He installed all of the accessories, inside and out, set all of the electrical components, explained all of the features and was ready to leave with, no trash left behind, within 2 1/2 hours. I could have struggled to do it myself, as I have been a technician for years, but the service, expertise, accuracy and the quality products offered made the investment worthwhile for me. If there is an opportunity to request Steve to do any work for you in S E Michigan, I would even wait for an for an opportunity to get on his appointment calendar if I needed future assistance. Like finding a good MD, you stick with a good one when you find one.

My tech Pat Stevens gave a couple options from which I chose the yet still affordable best option. The previous work wasn't done that way, which is why my previous spring broke. The attached pics are clearly before and after. Pat was on time, friendly and professional. I can now lift my garage door with a finger whereas before it required two people. As a disabled veteran, that's huge when the power goes out. Garage doors done right is a slogan they delivered on, and Pat and Precision Garage Doors come highly recommended by me.

Im disappointed that my garage door is still not right. It was installed last Thursday but the top panel was measured incorrectly back in early December, the 2nd I think, so. It took a long time to get. Now Im not even able to get into my garage since the only way to enter is through the garage which cant open. I was told they would rush the panel but I havent heard any thing yet.

Our automatic garage door was opening very slowly. Eventually, we realized that one of the two tension springs was broken. We called Precision late in the afternoon, and they came out the very next morning. Joseph was the technician. He explained exactly what needed to be done. And through an inspection determined a few minor issues that would likely be addressed. We agreed to the entire repair, and he took care of everything in a timely and professional manner. Upon completion, Joseph showed us everything that he did, cleaned up - and asked if we had any further questions. We are very happy with the job and I highly recommend Precision Garage Door for any garage door needs!
