A lot of moving parts were well worn out , but he had all the correct parts and options at hand to replace them. Well worth the cost and effort. Called precision for a repair and had a less than good exxperience. They had no clue whatwas wrong with my garage door lift system. After talking about 10 minutes about what could be wrong, the cables were mentioned by me and they asked if I wanted them replaced, I said sure because they were not lifting at the same time causing one or both sides to come off the pully. Seemed like it could be the problem. They did not know and I went with what seemed to be the issue. I needed my door fixed, car was trapped inside so I agreed to replacing the cables partly due to their overcharging for a diagnosis fee, just to come out and look at the door, even if they did no work or had no solution. and needing it fix that day. So $300 + later and still no fixed door. I called another company and he knew right away what was wrong, and fixed in in 35 minutes and charged $90 I would say steer clear of precision, that are anything but precision.

They wanted to charge us $1400 to fix the springs. There was a service charge of $75 which we paid and the guy had the garage opened but closed it and told us it was another $100 to get it back opened (our cars inside). We called another company and they fixed the garage door for $345. Precision was just looking to sell us a new door. The guy thought if the repair was high enough we would just spring for a new one. Not good business!

Pat Stevens was my technician and he arrived just before 8:00am on Sunday morning as stated. He replaced both the cables, which were attached to the garage door, and finished it in about 30mins. He was very professional and very knowledgeable, and also provided info on how to maintain the door, so it would remain in good working condition over time. I used a different service provider once before to repair our garage door, and he had never mentioned any of these tips, so that was greatly appreciated. I would definitely recommend Precision Garage Door to others, and I will definitely use them again in the future, if needed.
