My approximately 30-year-old garage door opener finally died over the weekend. I decided to go with Precision to have a new opener installed. Brian Ciminelli, Technician, was professional, answered all my questions, and also talked about options to replace additional hardware parts on the garage door mechanism (original springs, rollers and other hardware), and provided three different quotes depending on how much he would replace/install. I did not feel like I was getting a hard sell, and he addressed and thought of things I never thought of. The door opens and closes quieter than it ever has, I now have a battery backup model for the inevitable power failure, and peace of mind knowing that everything is newer and operating much more smoothly. Technician Joey arrived within less than 2hrs into the 4hr window I was given in my early morning call. He was very pleasant and efficient, explaining every detail in diagnosing the issue(s) with our garage door and opener. He estimated under an hour for the repairs and completed them in just over 1/2 hr and that included making a couple of maintenance-type adjustments that were not part of the specific repair he was summoned for. Five stars are not enough!!! This is the second time Precision Garage Door Service has come to my rescue on a Sunday, and within a couple hours had my garage door working beautifully. The first was in my former home, so when the garage door opener in my new condo started acting demon possessed, of course I immediately called Precision. The next morning (a Sunday) at 8am, Joey the garage door expert arrived. I love the fact that Precision sent me a text with his picture BEFORE he arrived! Joey explained what was wrong with my current garage door opener, then gave me several options & prices to remedy the problem. He gave me exactly what I asked for: a new garage door opener with battery back up, and an outside key pad. Joey had the installation complete in less than 2 hours! Then he clearly explained the operation of the new opener, answered all my questions, cleaned up the worksite and even removed the old opener. And Joey did all that with a polite respectful attitude. Locked out of garage during 5 day power outage. Used the emergency cable and it did not disengage. They came out on a holiday weekend. Issue was fixed within 15 minutes. Went beyond by doing some maintenance. Service was covered under warranty! No charge!!! Professional office and technicians. I would highly suggest your company to my friends and family.

Precision Garage Door has provided service to us on multiple occasions since 2017. Our most recent service request was called at 7pm and a human answered. No voicemail! Scheduled the appointment for service with them for when it worked for us. The tech - Mike Jolly called in advance and arrived when scheduled. Mike thoroughly investigated our issues, recommended multiple options for a replacement and performed the replacement quickly. Mike also was very helpful with downloading the app to my phone to use it as an opener. I hope Precision takes the time to recognize him for the outstanding work he did. The appointment time was from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. The door bell rang at 12:00 on the dot. A nice looking young man was waiting on the other side of the door and immediately began his inspection. It was determined the motor was gone and needed a full replacement. He was efficient, professional and most courteous. I will recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone I know who finds they are having difficulty with their remote in opening or closing the garage door.

Brian Ciminelli Came today 7-7-2026 to address an issue . With the release cylinder not working. Afterwards Brian had me use the key to release cylinder , pull the release chord, open door manually and reset. Now I know how to open the door manually. Brian was professional and helpful and easy to work with.
