Precision Garage Door has provided service to us on multiple occasions since 2017. Our most recent service request was called at 7pm and a human answered. No voicemail! Scheduled the appointment for service with them for when it worked for us. The tech - Mike Jolly called in advance and arrived when scheduled. Mike thoroughly investigated our issues, recommended multiple options for a replacement and performed the replacement quickly. Mike also was very helpful with downloading the app to my phone to use it as an opener. I hope Precision takes the time to recognize him for the outstanding work he did. The appointment time was from 12:00 - 4:00 pm. The door bell rang at 12:00 on the dot. A nice looking young man was waiting on the other side of the door and immediately began his inspection. It was determined the motor was gone and needed a full replacement. He was efficient, professional and most courteous. I will recommend Precision Garage Door to anyone I know who finds they are having difficulty with their remote in opening or closing the garage door.

Brian Ciminelli Came today 7-7-2026 to address an issue . With the release cylinder not working. Afterwards Brian had me use the key to release cylinder , pull the release chord, open door manually and reset. Now I know how to open the door manually. Brian was professional and helpful and easy to work with.

I choose Precision Door because they previously installed the garage door opener. We had a short electric power outage and it seems to mess up the garage door opener programming. Everything was restored to its previous level. And an inspection of the garage door yielded a few bolts that needed to be tightened up.

Follow up on Precision garage door rebuild from a year ago. Issue: new cable wire catching the side of the door on the left side. Joey came early(called ahead of time to see if okay). He assessed the issue and came up with a plan to fix. Loosened the springs, loosened the cable take up wheel, loosened the bracket securing the wheel, moved about half inch then tightened everything up in reverse order. Problem solved in about half hour. Door works great now. Joey was very professional and friendly. Answered all my questions.

My problem happened after our electric power went off in our neighborhood and I needed to unlock the door lock to open the garage door to get our car out. After unlocking the cylinder lock on the door to release the latch that is connected to the motor cable, I could not fully re-install the key lock cylinder. I then called "Precision Door" to fix the problem. I appreciated the quick response when Josh Crudup arrived the next morning to hook up the emergency pull cable and install the lock cylinder with no problem. He then cycled (closed and opened the door) without any problem. It was great to see some one like Josh who knows what to do to fix our lock problem. From the moment he arrived, he was friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. Mike took the time to explain everything to us, answered our questions, and made sure we understood what needed to be done. He estimated the repair would take about an hour and a half, but he completed the work well ahead of schedule without sacrificing quality. Not only did he do a fantastic job, but he was also great to talk to throughout the process. Our garage door now runs so smoothly it practically purrs! Found your service online. Signed in for a repair job online late Sunday for a spring replacement on Monday afternoon -- quick scheduling. Mike called late morning Tuesday and said he could come earlier if I wanted. I did, so he arrived in the new time he quoted. Signage on the truck, shirt(?), card from Precision, so I was confident he was who he said he was. Got right to work. Described what he wanted to do -- inspect entire door to make sure everything -- not just the spring -- was in good condition. He then presented me with several options for things he found -- good better best -- and talked me through the details. Essentially, the spring was broke (obvious) and a few other things showed wear and tear. I elected one of the options and he got right to work taking measurements, pulling parts, all of which he had n the truck. He was here about an hour-ish. then he showed me everything he'd done that we'd agreed to. Springs, rollers, safe drums, lift wires. He was polite, gregarious, knowledgeable about the product and repair effort. I'd have him back for a job anytime. Very happy with the results.

Was in need of new garage door remotes from an aged unit. Customer service was accommodating to my schedule to be home, and prompt in answering the phone! On the day of service Dan service person phoned in advanced of arriving and was able to track his exact arrival. Dan was friendly, professional, and patient in answering my questions. Dan was honest in his observations of an old tracking system to match the remotes but said he will investigate while performing maintenance. He was honest with his conclusion about the tracking system in that it worked and was able to make the new remotes work, not necessary to purchase a new unit at this time, but forward me cost for the future. He did not try to persuade me, or flat out tell me I needed a new unit today, etc... I have used Precision Garage Door Service in the past and will continue to call of them for serving my garage door needs!

I will only say you have superior customer service. Called your company to ask for help with my key pad and the gaps with my garage door you installed 2 years ago. You scheduled a visit later the same day, The technician Mike Jolly arrived and we talked about what was wrong, I advised the key pad wasn’t working even though I put in fresh batteries, he went right to work and fixed the battery poles and it worked. I told him that I only use the keypad each day for my daily walks, he asked me if my car had keypads, ( I have an older car) so that was a no, he advised me that my Genie opener can be programmed. I was never advised of that when I purchased the door and opener 2 years ago so he said it could be hooked up on my cellphone with an app. Mike was just super, and of course I was pleased that he said it was no charge to me.
