My garage door was installed by a very competent installer (Joshua Abt) who did an amazing job. The door itself is very nice. The only thing I didn't appreciate was the salesman who I felt, worked me like a used car salesman. Also it took 7 weeks to get my garage door installed. But it was worth the wait. That's why I gave it 4 stars.

Mike came to replace the T lock on the large door on a Sunday. In addition he inspected the door and lubricated it. He took his time, which I much appreciated. He thoroughly looked over my door and explained what was wrong with it. In addition he recommended some things he thought I may want or need. At the end he walked me through everything he did. Also he mentioned the age of my door was 2012. Thst was impressive that he took the time to figure that out for me. He was highly professional for the entire process. Steve, our technician, called well before our appointment window to see if he could arrive early. After walking us through the needed repairs, he completed the work quickly and restored our 30-year-old door in no time. We're so pleased with the quality of the service and with how simple it was to schedule. Their confirmations and communications were appreciated. We will ALWAYS call Precision first, because they are the best in the business.

My Liftmaster 8300 started to behave erratically with random open and closings. While that can be caused by a nearby remote for a different door, after while it became clear it was more than that. When possible prefer to have work done by community based companies in the Plymouth area and I found Precision Door and found their website offers online scheduling as soon as the same day. Brad came out and was professional from the start, even though I had requested a new opener, Brad took the time to do a through inspection of the door (pointing out some signs of wear that could become problematic in the future), he tested the opener and found some erratic behavior even in manual operation. Once he confirmed the balance of the door, the cables etc were fine I decided to go ahead and have the opener replaced with the latest Liftmaster 98022 model. Installation went well and Brad took the time to explain how and where to lubricate the hinges and spring for best operation. The original door installers never provided those details. Would also encourage folks to respond their rollers with the new nylon rollers. Door operated so quiet and smoothly now. Would highly recommend Precision Door.
