My approximately 30-year-old garage door opener finally died over the weekend. I decided to go with Precision to have a new opener installed. Brian Ciminelli, Technician, was professional, answered all my questions, and also talked about options to replace additional hardware parts on the garage door mechanism (original springs, rollers and other hardware), and provided three different quotes depending on how much he would replace/install. I did not feel like I was getting a hard sell, and he addressed and thought of things I never thought of. The door opens and closes quieter than it ever has, I now have a battery backup model for the inevitable power failure, and peace of mind knowing that everything is newer and operating much more smoothly. Technician Joey arrived within less than 2hrs into the 4hr window I was given in my early morning call. He was very pleasant and efficient, explaining every detail in diagnosing the issue(s) with our garage door and opener. He estimated under an hour for the repairs and completed them in just over 1/2 hr and that included making a couple of maintenance-type adjustments that were not part of the specific repair he was summoned for. I had an issue with my motor, Jordan came out diagnosed the issue quickly. He gave me options for a quick cheap fix or explained how old my motor was and would eventually need replacing.
